About Marble Lake
Swimming
Marble
Lake features sand beaches with extensive shallows providing excellent
safe swimming for all ages.
At the Loon's Call Resort, we take pride in maintaining a clean
beach - it's raked and cleaned everyday in the summer months. A
water volleyball court, swimming barge and swimming dock are provided.
Canoeing and Boating
Located between the Mazinaw Lake to the north and
Kashwakamak Lake to the south, Marble Lake is
roughly two miles long and forms part of the Mississippi River watershed. Canoe
trips with a minimum of portages are possible for many miles.
Fishing
Marble
Lake offers excellent fishing and anglers will find a variety of
fish including:
- Walleye (Pickerel)
- Northern
Pike
- Large and
small mouth bass
If you prefer a little variety, there are many lakes with public
boat launches nearby. We are happy to direct you to a nearby
lake where, in addition to the species above, you can fish for:
- Lake
Trout
-
Splake
There are several bait and tackle shops nearby for anything
you may need. Fishing licences are also available within five minutes
drive of the Resort.
